Configuring the BusinessObjects Adapter

The BusinessObjects Adapter software is installed as part of a standard installation of TA . However, you must perform the these steps to license and configure the adapter before you can schedule and run BusinessObjects jobs:

• Licensing an Adapter – Apply the license to the BusinessObjects Adapter. You cannot define a BusinessObjects connection until you have applied the BusinessObjects license.

• Securing the BusinessObjects Adapter – Define BusinessObjects users that the adapter can use to establish authenticated sessions with the BusinessObjects server and permit requests to be made on behalf of the authenticated account.

• Using WinAD or LDAP Authentication – Configure authentication as necessary for your environment.

• Configuring the HTTPS Protocol – Configure the HTTPS protocol if used in your environment.

• Defining a BusinessObjects Adapter Connection – Define a BusinessObjects connection so the master can communicate with the BusinessObjects server.
